Transport and delivery

Each transfer is assessed case by case. What is possible depends on the species, the animal, the country of origin and the country of destination.

Types of delivery

Collection by appointment

The current website states that the animal can be collected from their premises by appointment. The address is provided when the appointment is arranged.

Domestic transport

Coordinated after the contract, with the date and conditions agreed in writing.

Commercial transfer between EU countries

A transfer involving a change of owner does not follow the rules for personal travel with a pet. It requires identification, health documentation and, depending on the case, official certificates.

Outside the EU

Import and export with their own health and customs requirements. It may not be possible for some species.

Requirements by species

Dogs and cats

Microchip identification, vaccination, passport or certificate, minimum age and documented origin, depending on the destination.

Birds

Identification, health documentation and, if the species is covered by CITES, the corresponding certificate.

Reptiles

Documentation of origin and captive breeding, CITES where applicable, and any applicable national restrictions or lists.

CITES: Wildlife trade — European Commission

Indicative destination guide

Select your country and the type of animal to see what is usually needed. It is not an authorisation: a person always confirms it.

Delivery method

The current website mentions a list of shipping countries, indicative timeframes and transport conditions. We do not publish them as a guarantee until we have the supplier's document or the contract: they are confirmed for each case.
