Guarantees are governed by the sale contract signed before payment. This page summarises how they are organised, without anticipating time limits that depend on that document.
Sale contract
According to the current website, each acquisition includes a sale contract reviewed before payment. It is the document that sets out the terms, rights and obligations.
Legal guarantee
The one established by the applicable consumer law. It cannot be limited by contract.
Commercial or health guarantee
If the contract includes one, it must state the scope, the animals covered, the period, conditions, exclusions, documentation and procedure.
Transport
The conditions of the transfer and, where applicable, insurance, are set out in writing for each shipment.
Returns
The policy for live animals is different from that for products and accessories. The current website states that, for live animals, returns for a change of mind are not accepted, while returns for justified health reasons are, according to the contract.
